The A Capella Project: Eminem
I have SOOOOO much respect for his range as a lyricist. I don't even consider this the best of Em and it's STILL crazy hot. Nice acapella.

The A Capella Project: Aaliyah
Simply beautiful without instruments. Her voice acapella is almost angelic. Yes, I said IS. Aaliyah will live forever.

The A Capella Project: MF Doom
I know this sounds weird, but I love the nasal monotone lyricism this cat displays throughout every song. Even though he was born British Trini he's SOOO New York. Nice with the acapella.
The A Capella Project: Big Pun
One of the most underrated rappers of all time, Pun came cracking skulls with prolific lyrics bouncing off the mic in sick reverb that made you just shake your head like "Damn, this Puerto Rican nigga is ILL with it!" That's what I said the first time I heard an acapella joint from this man. Enjoy.

The A Capella Project: "My Block," by Tupac Shakur
Pac touches your heart through his bars when you let him in. So close your eyes and listen.

The A Capella Project: Eminem
Marshall Mathers took the hip-hop world by storm with his profound lyrics. Some of his songs made us laugh, some made us cry, some made us dance, and some of his songs even made us uncomfortable at times. But ALL of them made us LISTEN. No one can question his genius. Slim Shady has accomplished what few white rappers have been able to do: He earned the respect of the entire hip-hop community.
The A Capella Project: "It Ain't Hard To Tell," by Nas
I mean, damn. This is one of my favorite lyricists, and for a reason. He spits prolific bars that make us think, nod our heads, and anticipate the next 16. From Nasty Nas to Esco to Escobar to Nastrodamus to simply Nas... this man will go down in the books as one of the greatest rappers to ever bless our eardrums.

The A Capella Project: "Guess Who's Back," by Rakim
This is the first post of my A Capella Project series. This lyricist never ceases to bless the mic with a timeless flow; his vocal syncopation is crazy. Please enjoy the clever delivery of this Microphone Fiend, whom we all know as Rakim.
